Throughout the year, the Friends support the many events held at the Manatee County Agricultural Museum. In addition to the annual events described below, please visit the Museum's website for all the details on current and upcoming events.

Palmetto's Heritage Festival
March
Annual event held in March in conjunction with the Palmetto Historical Park featuring an open house, new exhibits, and the Heritage Station Post Office

Remake Learning Days
April/May
Supported by the generosity of The Patterson Foundation, this free family learning event is held on a Saturday during Suncoast Remake Learning Days.

Make It Take It
June/July
Held in the Summer at the Museum. This family programming series features agricultural topics through crafts and activities.

Palmetto's Christmas in the Park
December
An annual tradition held the first weekend in December along with the Palmetto Historical Park.
Outreach
The Friends play an integral part in monthly outreach efforts at Soar in 4 and can be found at many community events throughout the year.


Field Trips
The Museum in conjunction with the Palmetto Historical Park hosts free field trips for both small groups of homeschoolers and school classes throughout the Fall and Spring. Reservations are limited and open at the beginning of August. Contact the Museum for more information.
